Trauma/PTSD
Have you had an experience that left a lasting impact on you? Did your parents divorce? Have you experienced physical/emotional/sexual abuse? Bullying? Maybe it is one of the things I just mentioned or maybe it is something that you have never shared with someone else before. Trauma can be an experience that is overwhelming and usually leaves lasting effects such as nightmares, fear, shame, etc.

Adolescents
Being a teenager is hard. School can be difficult, both socially and academically. School brings the possibility of being bullied, having a difficult time with friends, or just simply belonging. We all want to feel accepted and this does not always feel possible. How are you handling these situations? Have you ever harmed yourself? Is it difficult to express your emotions? We can process any of these possibilities and help you better learn how to deal with these hardships.

Grief/Loss

Have you experienced a job loss or grief from losing someone close to you? Loss is hard no matter what the situation, and it is important that you have support.  I encourage you not to isolate in the loss, as this can be the easiest thing to do. It may feel like no one understands what you are experiencing, but there is support available for you.
