Top 3 Favorite Christmas Traditions!
The Christmas season becomes so hectic with holiday parties, buying and wrapping Christmas gifts, hanging the Christmas lights, and putting up the Christmas tree, as well as many many more.
While traditions make the season busy, they also signify special memories that are created with family and friends and they signify things that we look forward to during this season that bring us joy.
I wanted to take a moment to connect with each of you on a personal level. Christmas is my favorite holiday for many reasons. I love that I have the opportunity to give to others as well as engage in some of my favorite activities. I will share with you, in hopes that you will also share with me! It is difficult to only pick 3, but I will give you my top 3 favorite traditions.
1. I love getting a real Christmas tree and decorating it. While real Christmas trees are messy, I LOVE the smell that they bring into my home for a few weeks. My family and I used to have a tradition of going and cutting down a fresh tree, but now we settle for getting one from Costco or King Soopers. However, that memory still holds a special place in my heart.
2. I love going and looking at Christmas lights! Whether it be going to places like Hudson Gardens, the Botanic gardens, or driving around and seeing lights on the houses in my community. All of the lights are so beautiful.
3. And last, but not least, I love being with family. Family is so near and dear to my heart and Christmas allows a time for us to be together and enjoy each other. My family has always really valued Christmas, so this season holds a lot of really positive memories for me as well.
So, now I have shared my favorite traditions with you, I would love to hear yours! I read all of the emails that I receive and look forward to connecting with you!
