I wanted to take a moment today to wish you a Happy 2020! As another year comes to a close, I feel so incredibly grateful to have had you as a part of my life this year. My clients have done some amazing and hard work this year and I am so proud of each and every one of them. This work is not easy, but investing in yourself is the best thing you can do for you. You are SO deserving of it.

We are welcoming a new decade and this can bring about happy feelings, but also negative feelings.
Maybe you feel like:
  • You still have a lot of growing to do,
  • You aren't where you pictured yourself at this point in your life,
  • You haven't been able to meet the goals that you set for yourself, or
  • There is general anxiety that comes with the future.
If you relate to any of the above statements, you are not alone. We can be our own worst enemy in putting pressure and shame on ourselves if we don't meet our own standards. But, what if you tried something different and instead encouraged yourself and offered grace. The arrival of a new year can bring about added pressure and we find ourselves setting our sights high and creating a long list of expectations. It is fine to set goals for yourself, but make sure that you are realistic about what you are expecting of yourself. Start small and be SMART.

Are your goals SMART?
Specific
Measurable
Achievable
Relevant
Time-Based

Smart goals are well defined, focused, and specific. They lay out specific steps that you will be able to follow and set you up for success!

Wishing you a year full of finding your voice, feeling hopeful about your future, and finding peace in new beginnings. I look forward to continuing to be a part of your healing journey in this upcoming year!

I look forward to seeing you in 2020!!

In this together,
